Everything you have read or seen online has been through the protocols invented by Sir Tim Berners-Lee. He is the inventor of the World Wide Web! Let's just break that down a little:

* Founded the W3C
* Published his work free from patents and royalties
* Campaigns for open and universal access to the web 'as a medium for positive change'.
The web is hailed as "The fastest growing communications medium of all time". This has only been achieved with the open vision of Sir Tim.
It seems only fitting that we say Happy Birthday!
