Remembering Larry Roberts
You may not know the name, but Dr. Larry Roberts designed and managed ARPANET, the precursor of the Internet, in 1967. Without his work the Internet as we know it would not exist.
Not content with that, Larry went on to found a number of influential companies working in the field. He continued to work in this field until his death in 2018.
As Internet users, it seems only fitting that we remember Larry on what would have been his birthday.
