I was demonstrating our ecommerce dashboard to an agency recently to show the effect data visualisation can have on planning and engagement. I was surprised by the first question, "Is that data real?"
I hadn't thought about it as it wasn't a planned demo, but I confirmed the data was real. "That's ~£2M/year from that one site, are they all over you, you must be charging a fortune?" Not really, I responded.
We do mission critical stuff and we focus on it. Our approach is to do it right in the first place rather than throw support at it after the fact. That keeps the cost of ownership down and loyalty up.
It's not rocket science.
