If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
I find the announcement that GDPR regulations in the UK will be replaced by a GB version utterly ridiculous.
GDPR is a success. Privacy is now baked-in to most company cultures (in a good way) and the ICO is finally enforcing things. Every organisation is privacy aware and that is a GOOD THING.
'Cutting red tape' is just an excuse to return to the dodgy, spiv culture we had in this country before. In fact it will increase red tape and costs as most business will have to maintain GDPR compliance as well to deal with NI and the EU.
Am I alone in feeling this way?
