O365 MFA Attack
Earlier this month Office 365 saw an AiTM phishing campaign that bypassed their MFA. Phishing attacks are very difficult to defend against, in general, but when your users are used to clicking on external links to big tech services it is much easier for the bad actors to fool their targets.
Bespoke services are built to use and secured around your own domain. Whilst there's no intrinsic improvement in security, your users will be much more sensitive to only using your own domain in links. That makes phishing much more difficult.
