I-ntarsia ProfilerTM - Site Development Tool
The real power for our resellers comes from Profiler, the i-ntarsia site development tool. As you'd expect, the Profiler is web based, just like i-ntarsia. This means that you can access Profiler from wherever you are, so that you can offer clients unprecedented levels of support.
From your single Profiler account you can manage all of your clients' i-ntarsia sites. Once you have selected a site you wish to update, you can:
How do I update the templates or style sheets?
Simple, you use the same tools you always have, Dreamweaver, goLive etc. The files you need to change are all downloaded to your local PC so that you can use whatever tools you like to make your changes. All you have to do to make them work with i-ntarsia is insert a few special tags, or add some comments!
Profiler contains a help reference which gives you all of the information needed to create simple templates and stylesheets. In addition there is a host of more advanced information on how to add complex site options such as drop down menus etc.
Do I need to do any programming?
No! We have produced Profiler to allow designers to configure i-ntarsia in a way which suits them. Where this configuration is complex, XML table definitions for example, we have provided a simple point and click tool for you to use.
If you are comfortable with some programming techniques in Javascript or SSI, then you can add these features to your templates.
