Extending Functionality With i-ntarsiaTM Modules
The i-ntarsia system is extendable using plug in modules accessed from the "Extra" menu. These are sub-systems that provide specific additional functionality, and can be off-the-shelf, can be customised for a specific use, or built from scratch for a specific purpose.
Existing off-the-shelf modules include:
- User registration and management
- Site security module (providing protected areas of the site)
- Opt-in e-mail marketing
- User polling
- Photo/video album
- User discussion forum
- User questionnaire
- Customer support
Existing customised modules include:
- E-commerce with on-line third party clearance, deferred shipping and custom billing
