Working With Meta Information Pages
Meta Information pages contain information that is relevant to your site but that does not fit well in the main flow of your site content. These pages help describe the information that is contained on your site in a way that is helpful for end users and search engines alike. We split the meta information pages into three categories:
- Glossary
- Functions
- Features
Within the Glossary you create pages which each describe a specific industry term. For example, you may have to define 'Ecommerce' so that people understand what you mean by the term. This page will also help search engines understand that you have something to do with 'Ecommerce' as a search term.
Within the Functions section, you create pages that describe the function of your products or services. For example, you could create a page describing the Ecommerce System that you provide. This page will also help search engines understand that you have something to do with 'Ecommerce System' as a search term.
Within the Features section, you create pages that describe the features of the products or services that you provide. For example, you could create a page describing the 'Low Cost Ecommerce System' that you provide. This page will also help search engines understand that you have something to do with 'Low Cost Ecommerce System' as a search term.
The user creates these pages using the editor, and a much simplified template.

The pages are then automatically added to your Meta Information Page, which is linked to from every page on your site in the same way as a site map should be.
