Using Images and Download Files
Within i-ntarsiaTM the user can easily add images for use in pages or files to download, such as PDFs or Excel files. We refer to images and download files as assets. Before these assets can be used by the editor, they must be uploaded to the i-ntarsia server. This is a simple process which is started by clicking on the required icon in the Site Structure View.
Images and files are stored in trees, just like the pages on your site:
The process for adding any assets, file or image, is identical:
The asset is given a name which the user uses to identify it, and then the user browses the local computer to locate the corresponding file.
Once assets are loaded, they are available from the "make link" and "add image" buttons in the editor. The assets are added/linked to using the asset name given to them by the user.
Once the changes have been made, the page can be published and previewed:
